The Food and the feelings …

Yes! intuitive eating does work if you are vegan or vegetarian.

The key is having internal rather than external motivation.

Diets are external motivation. Doctors, well-intentioned friends, and meal plans come from outside of you.

However, internal motivation is good. For this reason, most vegan and vegetarians do not crave meat.

This is because their motivation is intrinsic.

The Food And The Feelings

If you still crave meat as a vegetarian or vegan, that’s okay. However, we must also be aware we are not aiming for a status. Sometimes vegan or vegetarian becomes a another food rule like a diet.
