Can you lose weight by eating healthy and not exercising?
The short answer is “yes” but there are 2 distinctions:
- You don’t need to be super-duper healthy or worry too much about health
- You do have to talk about and address emotional & binge eating treatment

The basic gist around health eating is to not make too complex.
Now you might be thinking that nutrition is important and that little details are useful.
I see this a lot! People want to know every single little thing about nutrition.
However, most of these people are binge eating or emotionally eating and not even knowing it!
Here’s what happens:
- You are ‘good’
- You go to a party, social event, or just are feeling bad and so you eat a ton
- You feel bad AND you think this ‘bad eating event’ was a 1 time thing
You do not see the long-term pattern. The long-term pattern is that you are eating large amounts of food in spikes.
These spikes you must address if you are to lose weight by eating healthy and not exercising.
Most people don’t look at these spikes. They don’t see them.

These spikes are actually called yo yo dieting, even though you may not be officially on a diet.
